The Best Group Photo Contest
Entries can be submitted starting Saturday, March 26th, 2011. Closing date for submitting
entries is Friday, April 15th, 2011 midnight; no entries will be accepted after this time. We will
accept group from photos from all groups that plan on attending the Come Fly With Me Prom
Procedure for submitting your group photo:
1. Post your group to a group representative’s Facebook Profile.
2. Type group representative’s name, along with stake and ward as information for the photo.
3. Tag ComeFlyWithMe Prom so it appears on our wall.
The social site representatives from each stake, advertising committee chairs, and prom co-chairs will judge all photos. Photos will be previewed for appropriate content that meets Strength of Youth Pamphlet. If approved, all submitted photos will remain on the “ComeFlyWithMe Prom”
Facebook site and will be linked to the comeflywithmeprom.blogspot.com blog site. Four winners, one from each stake, will be chosen based on the following criteria:
Entries will be scored in five areas
1. Meets the Strength of Youth Standards
Not following the standards will eliminate your photo from competition.
2. Creativity
3. Cost effectiveness. Creative ideas that do not cost much will score higher than
creative ideas that are expensive.
4. Safety. Bodily harm or property damage in your photo will eliminate your photo
from the competition.
5. Only one photo per group
Four Prize Winners
One winner from each stake will be chosen. Each winner will receive a breakfast party for their group after the prom. Winners will be posted on the Facebook site ComeFlyWithMe Prom and the comeflywithmeprom.blogspot.com site on Wednesday, April 20th, 2011 at 11 p.m. Winners will be notified by social site representatives.
